Q: Are your pastries vegan?
A: Yep – every single bite. We don’t shout about it too much, but all our treats are 100% plant-based. You’d never know unless we told you (which… we just did).
Q: How do I order?
A: It depends on what you’re ordering:
- Bohemian Infusion (jars): available all the time — order directly through the website.
- Fresh bakes (koláče, buchty, etc.): available through fortnightly collection openings. When the window is open, items will show as available on the website and you can order as normal.
- If fresh bakes are showing as “sold out,” we’re between openings — the next date will be announced on Instagram.
Q: Do you deliver?
A: Bohemian Infusion jars can be shipped as usual.
For fresh bakes, nationwide shipping is available by enquiry (because timing matters and we want your pastries arriving in top condition). If you’d like fresh bakes shipped for a specific date/event, fill in our shipping enquiry form and we’ll get in touch to confirm what’s possible. Orders are confirmed once they’re fully paid for.
Q: Is pick up available?
A: Yes — fresh bakes are collection-based during our fortnightly openings. After you place your order, you’ll receive an email with a link to book your collection time slot and see the collection address.
If you need a specific time/date for a special occasion, use the shipping enquiry form or contact us and we’ll tell you what’s doable.
Q: How long do your pastries stay fresh?
A: We bake fresh in small batches. Koláče and buchty are best enjoyed within 1–3 days (good luck making them last that long). You can freeze them for later too — defrost and warm gently for maximum deliciousness.
Q: Do you do custom orders?
A: Sometimes! If you’ve got something special in mind (birthdays, office treats, event boxes), send an enquiry and we’ll chat through options, timing, and what we can realistically take on.
Q: What allergens should I know about?
A: Most of our bakes contain gluten and soy, and some may contain nuts. Everything is labelled, and if you’ve got questions or allergies to flag, just drop us a message before ordering — we’re happy to help.
Q: Where do your recipes come from?
A: Straight from the heart (and a Czech kitchen). Our bakes are inspired by traditional Czech & Slavic baking — with a little playful twist.
Q: Do you sell at markets?
A: Not as a regular thing this year. Slice of Bohemia is focusing on online orders, Bohemian Infusion, and fortnightly collection openings. If we do any pop-ups, we’ll shout about it on Instagram.
