Q: Are your pastries vegan?
A: Yep – every single bite. We don’t shout about it too much, but all our treats are 100% plant-based. You’d never know unless we told you (which… we just did).
Q: How do I order?
A: Easy! Pop your favourites in the basket, make sure that when ordering Koláče you specify the flavours and numbers at the checkout, and leave the rest to us. You’ll get an email confirmation, and updates when your pastries are on the move.
Q: Do you deliver?
A: Yes! We ship across the UK with 24H Royal Mail tracked delivery. You’ll get a link so you can stalk your pastries in real time. Local delivery will be available for you if you live in or around Newcastle. Every order is shipped within 1-2 days from ordering. If you are looking into ordering a larger order for a specific event or day, please contant us throught the email and we are happy to discuss any option suitable for you.
Q: How long do your pastries stay fresh?
A: We bake fresh for each order. Koláče and buchty are best enjoyed within 1–3 days (good luck making them last that long). You can freeze them for later too – just defrost and warm gently for maximum deliciousness.
Q: Do you do custom orders?
A: Sometimes! Drop us a message if you’ve got something special in mind – birthdays, office treats, bribing your flatmates… we’ll see what we can do.
Q: What allergens should I know about?
A: All of our bakes contain gluten, soy, and sometimes nuts. Everything’s clearly labelled, but if you’ve got specific questions, just ask – we’re happy to help.
Q: Where do your recipes come from?
A: Straight from the heart (and a Czech kitchen). Our pastries are inspired by traditional Czech & Slavic baking – with a little playful twist.
Q: Do you sell at markets?
A: Yes! Keep an eye on our Instagram for upcoming market dates and pop-ups. Pastries taste even better when eaten outdoors, trust us.
